Format of the weekly Tuesday leaders’ meeting – 19:30 to 20:30...

The weekly leaders’ meeting is held every Tuesday evening from 19:30 to 20:30. By holding it every week, the volume of material that needs to be dealt with each week can be kept to a minimum so that the entire meeting can finish after just one hour (60 minutes) has elapsed.
During the first 25 minutes of the weekly leaders’ meeting, the leaders of Creche, Sunday school and Youth Group meet together in the locations where those activities are held and the leaders of the Bible study groups meet in three different areas of the main church building, corresponding to the Bible study groups of the Sunday 9:00 church service, the Bible study groups of the Sunday 13:30 church service and the Bible study groups of the Sunday 15:15 church service.
I believe that the most productive seating format for these leaders’ meetings pertaining to each different activity in the church is a circle.
This first 25 minutes of the weekly leaders’ meeting ends at 19:55.
After this first 25 minutes of the leaders’ meeting has elapsed, there is a 10 minute interlude for all of the church leaders to gather in the main church building, to greet each other and to organise the seats in the main church building in an appropriate row format to accommodate all of the leaders in the church.
This 10 minute interlude ends at 20:05.
The final 25 minutes of the weekly leaders’ meeting is an opportunity for any relevant announcements to be made and for the Senior Minister of the church to address all of the leaders in the church.
The entire weekly leaders’ meeting finishes no later than 20:30 on Tuesday evening, giving all of the leaders the opportunity to travel home by around 20:45 and go to sleep by around 21:00 if they need to get up early the next morning at 5:00.
